“The Mission of the AAB to nurture stewardship of the St. Andrew’s community, making possible the total involvement of all members of the St. Andrew’s family, to facilitate communication within the St. Andrew’s community, to plan and participate in events (on campus and regionally) to support the experience of current students and other alumni of St. Andrew's as a lifelong experience.
Interested in joining the AAB?
The AAB consists of between 18 and 37 Directors, who serve as alumni ambassadors for a three-year term. The membership is representative of the
total alumni body, who today number 3,226.
The nomination process begins
annually at the winter meeting, when all proposals are considered by
the Nominating Committee. It is helpful to have complete
information to consider and thus it is important that alumni provide
thorough and updated information on their Web site profile pages.
Whether proposed by others or self-proposed, candidates must have a
history of interest in alumni activities, such as service as class agent, a reunion
committee member, or regional involvement. They must be prepared
to continue that interest by serving the three-year commitment.
Attendance is expected at two AAB business meetings per academic year
on campus, together with individual alumni work and occasional teleconference
meetings. The final nominees then stand for election by the Alumni
Association at its Annual
Meeting of Members each reunion weekend. To view this year's nominees, please click here: Proxy Card
Anyone interested in joining the AAB may submit names of alumni to Chesa Profaci '80, director of planned giving and alumni affairs or to Barry Register '51, chair of the Nominating Committee.
